Xaomi Mi 5s Mobile is rumoured to be working on an upgraded variant of its Mi 5 flagship smartphone, likely to be called Xiaomi Mi 5s. And now, an alleged live image of the unannounced handset has surfaced on the web. The image shows the front panel of the device, providing a faint idea of what it might look like.

The image has been leaked on Chinese social networking website Weibo. It shows the device as sporting a Home button with integrated fingerprint sensor at the bottom edge of the screen. The design of the button is quite similar to the Touch ID-integrated button found in iPhone 5s and later devices. The function of the Home button is not yet known. In addition, a selfie camera with speaker grille can be seen on the top edge of the screen.
It is speculated that the device in image is a prototype and it might be some time before the final product hits the shelves. For those unaware, the smartphone was recently listed on AnTuTu benchmarking website, revealing some key specifications.
Based on preliminary reports and xiaomi mi5 specification and price is , Xiaomi Mi 5s will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and will come in two variants based on RAM and storage. While one version will have 3GB RAM and 64GB in-built storage, the other will feature 4GB RAM and 128GB in-built storage. In a separate image, again leaked on Weibo, it's been hinted that the Xiaomi Mi 5s will feature Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The sensor includes Qualcomm's Sense ID technology, which the company unveiled in March last year. It works on different surfaces like glass, sapphire, metal aluminium and plastic. A 3,490mAh battery is also rumoured.
